Watercolor meets Embroidery in this mixed media workshop combining the two for year-round blooms
Service Description
Join us for a relaxing evening of gentle paint strokes coupled with intuitive stitching to create your own mixed media field of flowers while learning a few stitches (looking at you, French knots) in a practice in letting go, leaning in, and exploring the possibilities that emerge from creating with imaginative structure. We'll begin by loosely applying watercolor pigment onto our hoops set up with white embroidery fabric to create our own unique color combinations and the background of our field and sky, before taking a moment to let that dry while we discuss, practice, & master French knots and a few other stitches. We'll then apply those fundamentals by stitching in our stems & filling in our blooms, slowly bringing our field to life with color and texture. Included: Guided instruction Watercolor painting Embroidery thread selection Hoop & supplies to take home Beginner friendly, No experience needed Minimum Age: 16+

Booking & Cancellation Policies - If you can't make it to your session please contact us at least 72 hours in advance to notify us of this unfortunate news. While we cannot supply a refund, we will try our hardest to reschedule you for the next class with availability. Please be aware that if you do not let us know and we don't see you there, we'll be forced to assume that you were eaten by an alligator which will forfeit the opportunity to reschedule. - Pricing is per-person. Please do not bring friends who are not participating in the class. We're sure your friends are all awesome, and we definitely DO want to meet them, but space is limited and you'll have new friends to meet here, with us! - No outside food or drink allowed. While the booking does not include food or beverages, we do have fresh drinking water and a free hot tea station, as well as light snacks, cookies, and canned beverages available for purchase, many of which are multi-allergen free. - Any questions beyond this policy list (which just so you know, we hate that we have to write it as much as you hate reading it)- please email or text us and we'll get back as quickly as possible!
