Service Description
Why buy the same halloween decor as 10 thousand other people when you can make your own? In this early spooky season workshop (sorry not sorry, we couldn't wait) you'll learn the Japanese texture art art form of Kinusaiga by picking one of our house-made templates (including the ghosty above) and using that pattern to carve slits into foam before peeling off the adhesive above and layering in your own unique fabric selections and then tucking into those slits to create your own SPOOKY shadow box textile art. Participants will be led through the entire process from start to finish in this beginner friendly workshop that leaves tons of room for customization. And, for this spooky workshop our free hot tea bar will be stocked with all the warm spice blends of the season to set the mood! We can't wait to see your unique creation (politely) haunting your home! Included: 1 pre-painted 6 inch black shadow box frame 1 pre-cut foam square pre-set with double-sided adhesive paper 3 templates to choose from Endless fabric options to use Guided instruction on technique & best practices All tools needed to complete the project Minimum Age: 16+

Booking & Cancellation Policies - If you can't make it to your session please contact us at least 72 hours in advance to notify us of this unfortunate news. While we cannot supply a refund, we will try our hardest to reschedule you for the next class with availability. Please be aware that if you do not let us know and we don't see you there, we'll be forced to assume that you were eaten by an alligator which will forfeit the opportunity to reschedule. - Pricing is per-person. Please do not bring friends who are not participating in the class. We're sure your friends are all awesome, and we definitely DO want to meet them, but space is limited and you'll have new friends to meet here, with us! - No outside food or drink allowed. While the booking does not include food or beverages, we do have fresh drinking water and a free hot tea station, as well as light snacks, cookies, and canned beverages available for purchase, many of which are multi-allergen free. - Any questions beyond this policy list (which just so you know, we hate that we have to write it as much as you hate reading it)- please email or text us and we'll get back as quickly as possible!
